It would kill to hear 'em say "HAPPY NEW YEARS! Here's those full-album packs we promised for you. Oh, and since we're such swell guys, here's a couple of free tracks from the Harmonix in-house bands, since we love you guys. Oh, and another bit of good news! We figured out what was wrong with our guitars, and rest assured they'll no longer break. Same with the bass pedals! They're now reinforced to properly assure sturdiness. Oh, and speaking of peripherals, guess what PS3 guys! The patch got through, no more worries there. Have a swell new year everyone!")

If that happens, I'll buy you a bottle of Jáger.

nobody should be expecting an announcement from harmonix regarding the DLC...its NEW YEARS EVE!!! I fully expect the harmonix folk to be dancing on tables, drunk off their asses at this point.

Let the nerds over at microsoft flip the switch for the DLC tomorrow. harmonix will be too hungover to bother.

They announced last week's on Christmas eve. So not even holidays stand in the way of DLC.

Well of course there wasn't the lure of obscene amounts of alchohol in last week's holiday so that might pose a problem

I agree with the announcement being at midnight. But it will probably be someone other than Sean. Some poor sap that pulled the short straw and got stuck announcing the new DLC at midnight.

Either way, I'll see you guys 15 mins after 12 o'clock to check and see.

Sean said he'd post back later in the week, last week when he announced the DLC for Christmas Day.

I figured he was delayed, and we'd hear something today. Now, I'm not so sure if we're getting any announcement today. =/
