KFF is so OVERCHARTED in LRB. Infact, I think it's the WORST note chart I have ever seen. My bro played it on his 360 and he could only manage 2*. He got me to try it and I could only manage 3*. I alt-strummed. I only ever got x4 once and could only hit one OD phrase. This song is just too AWKWARD to play. I had a look at the same song on Band Hero and it's like 10 times EASIER.

Even Painkiller & Bodhisattva is easier than this!
    Now playing: RB3

    Online name: xX666Xx
    Band name: WHATEVER...

    OBSESSION BASS FC!!

I have a question, why doesn't it have the single album cover?
I may have helped bring Rust in Peace to Rock Band.

The band hero version is only easier becuase they decided that the FLUTE part was more worthy of being played on the guitar than the guitar part was.

Other than that its basically the same. this song isn't overcharted, its just charted properly

I tried downstrumming the whole thing, but I got tired and cramped after about the first chorus. The pattern is also too awkward to alt-strum so that is no good.

I understand that is the hardest song in the game, but everyone else seems to think it is easy and can easily Gold star or fc it.

My question to you is how you guys play it that makes it seem really easy. For reference I have fced songs like Devour and Seven downstrumming the entire thing so I am not horrible at it. Thanks
Just an fyi some people lie about gold stars and FC's.
It's not Harmonix fault that you shut ins don't have friends to do the harmonies with.

I don't mean to be rude, but maybe you should just get better. I personally five starred it on sightread (not trying to brag, i'm just saying it's not "too awkward to play" by any stretch of the imagination...I suspect you're just having trouble alt-strumming and treating the chords as accents as mentioned above)

I think the chart's great, even though it's not a particularly FUN song to play (Fire FTW ), it may just take some work if you're not good at alt strumming.

"Music Band"? I'll pick it up right after I get through "Fighting Men" and "Shooting People". - Kiggidykev

this is what I'm talking about, the kind of people that find it so easy. I don't know how they do it. I am not a great alt-strummer, but I'm not bad. I guess it is having to altstrum the patterns that make it hard. So songs like Naive (getting better , currently have a technical fc) and Kung Fu Fighting rape my ass. I really want to fc those because I am going for the FGFC. currently have 35 so it is definately possible

Many people have modified guitars. There is a dead zone in the middle of the strumbar on both the GH and RB guitars that makes alt strumming more difficult than it shoudl be. I am working on fixing my guitar to remove that dead zone to get a better response from my strumbar, maybe you can consider the same?

Oh yeah, I didn't even think about that. I use the GH2 explorer, and it clicks on up and down strums obviously....the rb guitar (at least rb1, never even held the rb2 one) has a more "mushy" strum bar and is (IMO) much harder to alt strum with. GH guitars are the way to go if you have one....unless you suck less with the strat than I do

    Edit to an earlier post-

Naive fc!!!!!!! oh my gosh it took long enough. About an hour of grinding with a couple chokes in Verse 3, about 5 in Chorus 3, and even one in Outro B. I was pissed after that one, but I finally got it. Kung Fu Fighting here I come. Picture link below.
