    Warner Bros. Tech not responding

I had recently bought Lego Rock Band from EBGames in Canada and, much like Gamestop, they do not sell new games sealed in original packaging. Instead they sell you an already opened case with a clear sticker around the edge.

Stupid me brought the game home and played for a few days before I decided that I'd like to export the songs. I went looking for the process to do this and noticed that my game didn't come with the insert it was supposed to.

The store won't take the game back or help me out because it's now opened. So I e-mailed legorockband_support@aqinc.com and told them my story. They got back to me in about an hour which was great and wanted me to take pictures of my game disc, case and receipt. So I do all of that and send it off and now it's been two weeks without a response.

Just wondering if anyone else has had to deal with support if this is a normal wait and I'm just being impatient? I can't see why it would take so long to look at some pictures and help me out with my export code.

wow... You're creative. I would've asked HMX, but I bought mine new.

Also HMX has been known for not helping people if they bought games used, so I would be surprised if WB did.

Hm...I think you misunderstood. I did not buy the game used and if I had I would not expect to be able to export the songs.

I bought the game new at EB Games. They don't sell their new games sealed in plastic with the security stickers and whatnot around the edge of the case. Their new games are already opened and when purchased the store clerk pulls one out from behind the counter and will put a sticker around the edge of the case where it opens.

That's how it's always been as far back as I can remember.

I don't understand why the company who made the game would not help me after I bought the game new and it was missing the code.

It may still be worth talking to Harmonix. Explain your plight like you did here, and see what they say.

In the future, insist on factory-sealed games. EB Games and Gamestop are really bad about offering opened games they claim are new, and that's just ripe for abuse. What's to stop an employee from snarfing a download code, and then playing dumb and trumpeting the company "no returns" line when you come back to complain?
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.
It's all right. We're going to the end of the line!

I got the game used from Movie Gallery and the export code worked. How awesome is that?

I'm in the same boat... Which Harmonix contact should I use?

Well, following all the instructions on the forum hasn't gotten me anywhere and it's been two weeks. Useless... I don't know if it's harmonix or Warner, but service is no good.
