Honestly I don't think it makes a difference. Not my call though.

Wow I can't believe this even turned into an arguement. I mean who doesn't want more sorting options to easily scroll through the enormous list of songs.

Nobody thinks that it's BETTER that the songs are listed as DLC. That's all the poll shows. Anyone arguing otherwise is just saying that it doesn't matter and it's too much effort for Harmonix to fix for what's nothing more than semantics.

It's not that we don't want it. It's that we don't view it as a game-breaker as the OP (and poll) suggests.

I don't see anything indicating "game-breaker". It's kind of a stretch to say that.

Well Technically I think It should be placed in its own catergory..due to the fact Rockband 1 and technically it has the same download cycle as rockband 1 did however this feature is not worth patching and the fact that it does this is not the worse thing that could happen to gamers

There we go discussing the semantics of the argument instead of the actual topic.

The OP viewed it as something that should be fixed, indicating he felt it wasn't playable in it's current form. Furthermore:

The OP refers to it as a bug that must be patched, indicating he feels it's presence breaks the functionality of his game. Which it does not. Ironically that post is also an example of the kind of posts towards the opposing viewpoint turned this from a discussion into an argument.

If you look at who is saying "you're all idiots because you don't think this is DLC," it's all the people with high post counts.
So if you're wondering who to blame for this turning ugly, there's your culprit.

Nothing in there says it's "game breaking". The word "should" does not indicate that and neither does "bug".

Seriously, what is this all about?

Why do people insist on whining about semantics instead of the actual discussion? Is it because they've lost confidence in their viewpoint?

As you like to put it Mex, answer the question:
"Does the current sorting method prevent the songs from playing properly within RB2 or RB1?"

Because if it does, then yes...it's a bug that needs fixing. If it doesn't, then there is no bug. That's what the discussion has been the whole time. The OP thinks this is broken and needs fixing, others feel the system works fine and effort is better spent on other things that aren't working.

Like that PS3 patch for example.

You kept saying the OP was implying it's "game breaking" to back up your point. I was simply stating that the OP didn't do that. He called it a "bug" yes, but a game can have minor bugs and still play well. You've stated your point, you don't think it's worth improving. That's perfectly fine. Others feel that it's worth doing.

Now, you talk about arguing semantics after going on crusade about the poll options lacking an "I don't care" option and therefore it's useless, etc etc. I mean....really??

Anyway, you don't think it's worth improving. Others do.

I'm sure we can leave it at that. Yeah?
