    Muse

Black Holes and Revelations - Masterpiece
    Origin of Symmetry - Masterpiece
    Absolution - Great
    The Resistance - Great
Showbiz - Good, on the verge of great.

Honestly, I could flip the first two, I just put BHAR first because it had the first Muse songs I ever heard.

    Metallica

...And Justice For All - personal favourite, I find the raw, grating style makes it their most passionate album.
Master Of Puppets - The classic, and the finest example of Cliff's classical influences put to work in the context of metal.
Ride The Lightning - The same aspects of MoP can be found here, just not quite so perfectly honed.
Death Magnetic - A true return to form, their most recent album stands up there with the 80's material.
Load - Massively underrated. It may be slower, but they traded speed for the brooding darkness of Ride/Master/Justice.
Kill 'Em All - Rough, fast, brutal. Not by any means perfect, but that's part of the charm.
The Black Album - I've grown so tired of the singles, but Holier Than Thou, Of Wolf And Man and Through The Never are classics nonetheless.
St Anger - The Black Sheep. Still very good on it's own but not within the context of Metallica's discography.
ReLoad - Feels less like the companion to Load, more like a collection of material that wasn't good enough for it.
"Vampires, grrr, nasty! Let's annihilate them, for justice and... for the safety of puppies and... christmas, right?"

What's with all these Metallica ratings lately?

    Ride The Lightning
    Kill 'Em All
    Master Of Puppets

    ...And Justice For All
    Load
    Metallica

    Death Magnetic
    Garage Inc.
    St. Anger
    ReLoad

RtL and KEA are interchangeable as well as their self-titled and DM depending on my mood, the rest pretty much stay where they are all the time.

Probably a combination of their massive status and many notorious changes in "sound". They seem to be the archetypal band where everyone has a different order of preference. For example, I love the raw sound of Justice, I knew a guy that literally didn't listen to anything pre-Load, some people think they lost if after Kill 'Em All.

AJFA is way less raw than the stuff before it.
Despite all my rage, I'm still just Nicolas Cage

I've got to say for one thing about Funeral, that album is a slow-grower, but it won't stop growing on me.

Yea, Funeral is probably one of the best albums for me from the past decade, but The Suburbs is why I did this because i believe it to be truly superior to Neon Bible and I remember when it first came out many didn't agree.

I feel like the only person that despises not only this album, but the band as a whole
