I used to rank them equally, but when I really think about it Alligator is the clear winner. The album blows my mind every single time I listen to it. Every song is just so goddamn awesome, in particular "Lit Up," "Friend Of Mine," "Abel," and "Mr. November."

Funnily enough, my all-time favorite National song is on Sad Songs For Dirty Lovers. So. Damn. Good.

hmmm... yeah i really haven't done much listening to their later albums, they are terribly under appreciated.

I wouldn't say they're terribly under-appreciated, but they're certainly better than a lot of other more recent faux-indie crap.

No. Just... Actually I don't care, I can't stand listening to any Muse album. The Resistance deserves to be in last place though, it's so damn terrible.
