no probably for my own benefit, because you said that Wincing was not a good album. FYI: it's my favorite album of all time (so far)

    2. Franz Ferdinand
    3. Tonight: Franz Ferdinand

I hadn't heard it in a real long while when I made that list.

I gave the album a listen earlier... and completely changed my mind:

    Dire Straits:

    1. Alchemy: Dire Straits Live
    2. Dire Straits
    3. Love Over Gold
    4. Brothers In Arms
    5. Communiqué
    6. Making Movies
    7. On Every Street

If you've never heard Alchemy, you're definitely missing out on one of the best live albums~

Mark throws in some extended jamming on a bunch of the tracks~ which is really awesome.

    Camel - "Lady Fantasy"

    oh. my bad then. xP
let me clarify in that case. i think that every track on the album up to "red rabbits" is fantastic and the rest of the album is about average. definitely a good album, but in my opinion doesn't compare to oh, inverted world or chutes too narrow.

I don't care that you left off their first 3 albums as much as leaving off their 4th (Power Metal), I don't think rating a band's discography should entail leaving off any band's albums, let alone 4. I highly suggest listening to that album, it's debatable, but I consider it the best thing they've ever done, so I'm a little annoyed that you left it off the list.

Do you realize how hard it is to track down those albums? I'm just a casual Pantera fan so I just ranked their 5 main record label releases.

You should've included those albums, it's not really rating their discography if you exclude them. Anyway, here's how I would rate their discography:
    1. Power Metal
    2. Cowboys From Hell
    3. The Great Southern Trendkill
    4. I Am the Night
    5. Projects in the Jungle
    6. Far Beyond Driven
    7. Vulgar Display of Power
    8. Reinventing the Steel
    9. Metal Magic

Switch Kid A with OK Computer (and HTTT with IR) and you have my opinion.
