the main reason why I like Slow Riot more is because of how compact and condensed it is compared to Lift
it does feel more focused composition-wise...
"skinny fists" is obviously broader in both sound and mood, but i find myself more frequently yearning for "slow riot"'s strict hopelessness.

both songs on Slow Riot couldn't be anymore perfect IMO
agreed. i'm also really fond of the slightly less polished/rehearsed sound.

and I know Lift is supposed to be a masterpiece, but the 'drone'/'ambient' sections that divide portions of the songs are really unnecessary if you ask me. (i.e.: the beginning of 'static' and the end of 'antennas to heaven')
