MUCH better quality.
HMX, I love you. You introduced me to my favorite band, The Beatles. And now you're making a game for my first favorite, Green Day. Thank you so much
Electronic music had been around, if that's what you mean. It was a very exclusive taste, though, not at all like today.
I know Frank Zappa was a huge fan of a man named Edgard Varese, sometimes called "the father of electronic music", and he was quite an old composer.
I can't tell you if any type of electronic sound had been used by any mainstream band, though.
Not even close
It's All Too Much is psychedelia, cut and dried. No electronics or dancey beat to be found
I'd say the Silver Apples were among the first to make what is known as "techno music"

Electronic music has been around since the 1920's.
Tomorrow Never Knows sounds very techno.
Way ahead of its time.
The Beatles did no techno, but they invented everything that devolved into it.

Electronic music has been in existence since the early 30's, at the very least, which of course were the stepping stones for genres like Electronica and Techno. Only difference is using electronic music was a very uncommercial thing to do... today, we've got Lady Gaga![]()
Sorta techno. But I dunno if I would say they INVENTED techno. But it is a pretty good tune regardless.
