[QUOTE=CCDaDon;3349870]Dude... Come Together was originally supposed to be a song for a politician who was running for office and used "Come Together" as his slogan. Lennon got writers block when trying to write meaningful lyrics so he just wrote nonsense.

Actually John wrote the song as a campaign slogan for Acid trip Hippy Timothy Leary. After some issues (can't remember if it was because Leary lost or what) Lennon took the song back and recorded it as a Beatle song (as we all know). Leary actually tried, and failed, to sue John for the rights to the song.

Not the beatles, but Women Are The N*gger Of The World?

And in terms of beatles songs, John likes to turn people on/be turned on (see a day in the life, because, etc)
Where's Jerry Lewis when you need the man?

    "There's people standing round
Who screw you in the ground" in Love You Too

I'm not sure if that is referring to making love to dead people though.
