I'd probably get another Mass Effect game. It's a really interesting universe.

If Casey Hudson and Mac Walters aren't a part of it, I will buy it. If one of them is involved, I will buy it used (maybe).

Regardless of what the story involves in the next game, I'll buy it day one if they keep the co-op multiplayer.

Went back to Mass Effect 1. Wow how the game has improved through the years. I forgot that I was in the middle of my insanity playthrough. I also forgot that you have to manually save! Going to finish off the last level, restart as a female shepard and play all three of them again from start to finish. Good times.

Yeah I'll play through the series regularly over the years, methinks, once ME1 drops for PS3 next week.

I'm not sure I'll buy into a new Mass Effect game, but I'm definitely excited for the Omega DLC tomorrow. Does that seem hypocritical? It probably does. Life is full of little contradictions like that. Like how I can't stand Carly Rae Jepsen but I quite enjoy Taylor Swift.

Damn, I didn't have a playthrough in the middle of free-roam like I did when I downloaded Leviathan. Gotta go to Mars and the Citadel and all that crap before I can play Omega.

I just started my second play through ME3, on Insanity mode this time because after all of the multiplayer of fighting off aggressive enemies, I can probably handle it. I just finished Mars and the game crashed. That's enough for one evening I suppose.

You also have to do Priority: Palaven before you're truly in free-roam. Aaaaaaand you have to do Aria's Citadel missions with the gangs before the DLC is available (I assume it's triggered by talking to her, and there weren't any new dialogue options the first time I did).

Finally I'm getting in to it...Aria is unique as a squadmate. She wields SMG's and shotguns. I don't think any other squaddie has that combination. Powers-wise, she's vanguard-ish, with the obvious biotics (including two brand-new powers called Lash and Flare...I wonder if they become available to Shepard as bonus powers) as well as Carnage. I like the name of her class power -- "Biotic Boss"

I'm now what feels like halfway through the DLC. It's tough to say if it's "worth" 15 bucks, but it's definitely quite long. I can't really compare it to a past DLC, but it does remind me quite a bit of the Noveria section of ME1. Gameplay obviously, not aesthetic.

The turian Nyreen, by the way, is a Sentinel, with more emphasis on tech than biotics. She has lift grenades, but her only biotic 'power' per se is another new one, Biotic Protector (I find Overload and Incinerate much more useful from her). I don't see what use this one has. It's a shield that perfectly protects you from damage, but while it's in use you can't move, use another power, or fire a gun.

Aria's two special biotic powers (she also uses Reave) are both AWESOME by the way, and I looked it up -- they do indeed become available to Shepard as bonus powers. Biotic Protector does not. Lash is basically a cross between Pull and Warp. It violently pulls the target slightly closer to you, inflicting big damage in so doing. It can also pull a shield away from a Cerberus guardian. Flare is basically a biotic detonation without needing to use 2 different powers for it. It kicks ass
