    I'd say it has more to do with a little surge in popularity with the reissued albums and Rock Band game. There have been plenty of crappy Beatles covers in commercials before Michael Jackson died, like that one of Hello Goodbye that Target used a couple of years ago.

    I Absolutey Hate All Of Those Target Ads Using Covers Such As "Come Together" and "All You Need Is Love". On The Same Token, There Is A TV Commercial For A Radio Station Using "Taxman" (Not a cover) Yay!
