    Probably a Stupid Question, But...

    Do I HAVE to pay the 99 bucks for the premium XNA membership just to audition songs? I already am a registered user, I just don't have $99 laying around on my internets right now.

    And seeing how it's not likely my song's would end up getting in anyways, I don't wanna dump money into something for me just screwing around with some wacky guitar licks.

    Yes, you need both an XBL Gold account and an XNA premium account to audition songs. If you don't think it's worth the money, perhaps a smaller authoring group or individual who already has an XNA account would be willing to take on your song for no up-front cost.

    Nope, you can pay $49 for 4 months. :P
