    Some Postman is the song.

Also there is a metal song by the band The Acacia Strain titled Dr. Doom.

It is awesome if you're a metal lover.

Total is 108 songs that have been in, or are in review right now.

I know developers were warned that once a song goes up for playtest that word could get out, but I'm still not sure its good form to announce it for them. Just because they knew it was possible that someone would run to tell people doesn't mean you need to take it upon yourself to do so. Remember, too, that going up for playtest is no guarantee that a song will be released and the folks working on those songs may have good reason to hold back on announcing their participation.

If hmx doesn't have a problem with it, I don't see what the big deal is.

If I was working on a song I'd want as many people as possible to know about it.

There's already an entire thread dedicated to songs that have passed review, I don't remember seeing anyone announcing any of those songs.

See, now you're making stuff up to self-justify. Harmonix has said that they know this is going to happen. That's not an endorsement. Its an acknowledgement that people will run off drawing attention themselves by shouting whatever "insider" knowledge they have. Its not encouragement for anyone to go out and be that person. You're pretending that anything that isn't a condemnation is encouragement, but that's not true.

And your second point is just you deciding that no one could possibly think differently than you which isn't really an argument so much as a display of narcissism. If that was true, why didn't those developers announce it themselves? If this is so obviously better, why haven't these songs been announced by the developers?

Again, part of the reason is that some may yet not be released. One song YOU leaked on these forums a few months back has since been abandoned by its initial developer. That's not something the songs in the other thread need to worry about, although looking at the list I recall most if not all of those songs being announced by the developers/artists anyway.

The point is just because you can do this doesn't mean you should. Sure, there is nothing stopping you, but there is nothing making you do this, either.
