PS3 Update (EU)

Okay... this is weird.

I just popped LEGO Rock Band in and i've already updated it to v1.01 but I get a screen telling me there's a v1.02 update available (also 18Mb). I'm in Australia and on the PS3.

The v1.01 patch fixed the greyed out songs and the game no-longer crashes on Rock N Roll Star & Hysteria, so i'm wondering what this new patch does.

Does anyone know?

Presumably there must have been a problem with the 1.01 patch which made them withdraw it. And this then is the "fixed" replacement.

Odd though that we've seen no reports of problems with 1.01 here, apart from not being able to get it. And rather poor that there's been no announcement of patch information at all...

Anyone got 1.02 in Europe yet?

Hmm, I wonder if the 1.02 patch fixes the bug where you can only pick on-disc songs when making an album:

I just got the Version 1.02 update too.

Oddly, last night was the first time I had experienced any hangs since the previous update. Also oddly, the first hang was while trying to load in Hysteria in Free Play in the Rock Den.

I'm hoping this update corrects star tracking, whereby the total number of stars gets updated properly if you got back and do better on a song.


EDIT: Album setlists are still limited to the on-disc songs, unfortunately.

Nope, still have to use the LEGO RB songs when recording an album.

It just gave me the Veteran Performer trophy even though I haven't recorded my 6th album, and while i've played 186 gigs, i've only unlocked 157/161.

Just have to tackle the Endless Setlist now and i'm done.
