Ok what album do you like best for your reasons.
Freak Out
Surrealistic Pillow
Younger Than Yeterday
The Doors
Piper at The Gates of Dawn
The Velvet Underground & Nico
Aftermath
Revolver
Ok what album do you like best for your reasons.
It was between The Doors and Aftermath, went with Aftermath by a morsel, One the better 60s Stone albums, containing favorites such as Paint It Black, Under My Thumb, Mother's Little Helper, Flight 505, Lady Jane, Doncha Bother Me.
"piper at the gates" with "freak out" and "VU & nico" close behind.

These are my top three of this list. I chose the lolgeneric choice of VU & Nico because, unlike the other two, from first listen, I was hooked. It was what I credit with completely changing my taste in music, so the personal value is way beyond those two. As far as which I like to listen to best, Freak Out! and PATGOD are fantastic listens, but TVU&N still gets the pick for its diversity while not straying so far that it stops being coherent.

mmm i like all of them really. But piper at the gates and the doors hold special places in my memory.
Sweets to the Sweets
Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Along with Sgt. Pepper, it really helped give birth to psychedelic rock, which in turn gave birth to progressive rock, my favorite genre, and acid rock, the precursor to heavy metal.
Also, Syd Barrett.

Voted the VU & Underground, but it was hard to put it ahead of Revolver and Surrealistic Pillow.
Cleveland Browns 5-11 (next whenever they start playing again)
Peyton Hillis = The Albino Rhino
I picked The Velvet Underground & Nico, but the Door's and Pink Floyd's debut albums are huge favorites as well.
