    Question Beginner Settings

We just bought Beatles Rockband and love it. However, my younger kids are having trouble playing even at beginner level. On the Rockband World Tour game, all you have to do at beginner level is hit the strumming lever or bass drum kick (you don't have to finger the fretboard or hit the drum pads). Is there a way to change this setting on Beatles? Am I missing something? I have some disappointed 6 year olds who can play World Tour but not Beatles. Help! I need somebody! Help...

No there is no way to change it. Just help them press the correct button before they strum. Remember that you don't have to press and strum at the exact same time. If they see a "blue jewel" coming, they can go ahead and hold the blue button and then strum at the right time.

    Hope that helps.
    More Beatles DLC, PLEASE!

There is no 'Rock Band World Tour'. That's a Guitar Hero game.

There's no 'Beginner' level on Beatles. There's no point. Beginner mode is the simplest thing there its, it's not even proper gameplay.

On the Easy mode, you can't fail the songs. Just have them play on that.
Give me more songs by David Bowie, Oasis and The Smiths and I will be a very happy man indeed.

    Rock Band World Tour. :P

Anyway, easy isn't hard, and they can't fail anyway. I'm sure they will get the hang of it.
HMX, I love you. You introduced me to my favorite band, The Beatles. And now you're making a game for my first favorite, Green Day. Thank you so much

If you put it on Easy mode, the charts aren't as fun, but it's good practice, and the songs won't cut out if they can't manage the notes.

And while everyone else is deriding you for saying "Rock Band: World Tour", I think that's a lot better than saying "Guitar Hero: The Beatles".

So have them play on Easy mode, or go into the options and select "No Fail Mode", and everything should be fine. I believe this feature is in Lego: Rock Band, but of course, this doesn't have The Beatles' songs.

My son (6) loves watching me play The Beatles: he startied joining in singing along with me on Yellow Submarine, HCTH (he calls it Lil' Darlin!) and loves the "hey la" bit at the end of Hello Goodbye. We make up new lyrics for some ("Do you want a bag of peanuts" for Do you want to know a secret is a favorite!) and just today he wanted to play guitar with me. He struggled with the fretting and strumming as well: so I have a copy of Guitar hero where all you have to do is strum and he enjoyed that. He'll pick it up and get back to the Beatles with me I'm sure. Anyone know if Lego Rock band has the same strum along mode?

    Thanks

My 3 year old (well, he'll be 3 in February) loves watching me play - uses my PS2 RB2 instruments and plays along... He is always asking for "Sky Diamonds" and sings the "cha"s from Hello, Goodbye... it's pretty funny to see!!!
