Change appearance of band members

So I have been playing around with the game and can't seem to figure this out. I want to change the appearance of the band members that are computer controlled, the ones that were chosen as the extra members when the band was formed. Is this even possible? If it is, please tell me how step-by-step. Thanks.

1. Go into the Rock Shop,

2. Choose Band Members.

3. Hit RB (controller) or Yellow fret button (guitar) to change which member you are looking at.

4. Modify it to look how you want.

5. Done.

You can also rename them in similar fashion. Remember though, you can not choose to play as them. Unless, you create a replica character for your use.
