    messed up my export, help!?!?!

My kids got Lego Rock Band for Christmas. We entered our code from the package on this Rockband.com to get the redemption code. We got the redemption code and entered it in our xbox. The kids put Rock Band 2 in the xbox on accident and the code was redemded with that in the disc drive and not lego rock band. It looked like it was going to download but was done in 2 seconds. I noticed that lego rockband was not in there. So we tried again. Now it says that our code was already used. Any suggestions?

I just emailed the redemption help to see what I can do to fix this.

I think you can still put in LEGO and choose the "Export" option from there...
Pushing 50 and still rockin' like a teen, only now I can afford it and it takes longer to recover.

The actually "export" (it's really a download) has to be done from Lego Rock Band. All you downloaded is the license file. The hint here is that the export costs $10, which I'm guessing you haven't paid yet, because that parts occurs in LRB.

hmm, no I shouldnt need to pay the $10 since this should be my first download of it. I guess i will wait for a reply from the helpdesk.

    ??????

No you HAVE to pay 10 dollars to download it. Pop in the game. Go to the music store, go to the LRB and export the songs for 10 bucks.

You dont get a free export. You have completly 1/3 of the steps to export so far.

The whole idea for having the code that comes with the game is to have the one free download. Then anyone else can download them for $10. But the first code should be free. Why else have a code to redeem it?

You paid $10.00 less for the game than normal. There was never any intention by any party involved in this game for 1 free download. Don't quite know why you were led to believe otherwise

The code is to prove you got a new copy of the game, nothing more.
