Practice, practice and then use the magic secret method called..... more practice.

Just play the all the songs on Easy and see how you progress. The more you play and get used to the songs, the easier it will get. Sorry there is no secret way to make it easier.

Strike your head against each individual drum head until your drum set's chi energy flows with yours.
Life is very short and there is no time for fussing and fighting my friend.

Note: This may not work with the Xbox version due to the lack of American chi energy.

That's deep! "Do not try to play the drums - that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth: there are no drums. Then you will see that it is not the drums that play, it is only yourself."

If you are talking real drum kit, grab your iPod (or alternate portable music device) and play along with some of your favourite tunes (unless your favourite tunes are Slayer... that could be tricky). There are also tons of instructional vids at sites like YouTube or Expert Village. Heck, even the tutorials on RB are pretty good for introductory technical terms such as triplets, off beats, paradiddles (this term always sounded slightly dirty to me), etc. And just play, play, play!
