The Line 6 Spider cabs I know go for around $300-$400. Their good if your looking to get a good, quick, and easy cab for a low price.

Hahahaa, when you said cab, I thought 'cable', that is, until I read $300-400.

It's possible that's it's real, but it's also equally possible that someone just recorded the song acoustically, edited out the instruments from the original song and then pasted Plant's vocals on top of his acoustic recording. If it is fake, however, it's a damn good one.

Yeah I know, I heard one part in there that's from Stairway, but still if it's fake or someone recorded over it it's really good. I've really been looking into Zep's unreleased stuff and studio jam's and all that and I'm finding some really cool stuff.

So I finally got all the tracks to Trivium's Ascendancy. That is probably going to be the biggest influence on my album. I swear, the only reason that album isn't my #1 is because Dream Theater's Metropolis Pt. 2 exists.

I'd love to do a full album cover of it, but I seriously need to build my downpicking speed. It's getting quicker, I noticed that when I could finally play Eye of the Storm by BFMV all downstrums, but I need to go faster... Then maybe I'll get out of this 156 bpm rut that all my songs fall into for tempo.

Downstrokes, ah, "Master Of Puppets" is the king of downstrokes. I also had trouble with "Waking The Demon" because that riff is also all downstrokes and it's played pretty fast. I eventually got it, but the effect of all downstrokes is so subtle sometimes that it's not worth the trouble. You'll get it in do time, it's yet another technique that requires practice.

Ascendency is definitely my favorite Trivium album and "Drowned And Torn Asunder" is my favorite song that I do plan on covering sometime in the future. I do have all the leads figured out for that song so it's just a matter of learning the rhythm parts. I believe it's in Drop D, but right now my guitar is in Drop B for all the Sevendust, Mudvayne, Bleeding Through, and Machine Head covers I plan on doing.

Oh, yeah, and Demon Hunter. I have a lot of covers lined up right now.

WHAT?! Waking the Demon is DOWNPICKED?! And I thought Master of Puppets was bad...

I've been alt-picking it this whole time, no wonder I couldn't get it to sound quite right (kept hitting the E again when going from palm mutes to the pull-offs on the A)

Yup, and it's pretty damn fast for downpicking. I had to actually slow it down and build up my speed just to play that riff correctly.
