    So I asked my guitar teacher how he got to be teaching guitar, hoping it would help me get into a job involving guitar, and it turns out it was just sort of luck.

    His parents were like music geniuses so he was obviously great and people asked him to teach because they heard he was helping others on the street (which he was).

    It was a much longer story, but this is a simple summary.

    So yeah, that isn't going to help me. I'm just gonna wing it.

    As long as you have experience and the knowledge, music seems like an easy enough subject to teach.

    yeah, I'm getting practice with my....musically-challenged (for some reason....it's weird) dad. I have started teaching him a little bit, because HE wanted to learn! I didn't force him! haha

    I'm hoping to get into the guitar-tech or roadie industry. I'm not too good at playing guitar, but I could sure take one apart and put it back together.
