McCartney coming to Rockband

Three tracks from the former Beatle's three-night July stay at Citi Field in New York -- documented in the live DVD/CD "Good Evening, New York City" -- will be available as downloadable content for both the "Rock Band" and "LEGO Rock Band" video game franchises, according to Rolling Stone.

The songs "Jet," "Band on the Run" and "Sing the Changes" will be available for download on Jan. 5 for XBox users and Jan. 7 for those using Playstation 3.

It's the first time solo work from any of the Fab Four have appeared in a "Rock Band" video game.

Paul McCartney's solo career has NOTHING to do with the Beatles, that is why it is...a solo career.

And from a technical standpoint, how exactly would you handle the dreamscapes? They're live recordings. Does Paul just stand in the studio with an awkward audience track? Does he jam out all by himself on the Sgt. Pepper gazebo?

Are you stupid? He's not part of the Beatles anymore. Beatles Rock Band is for BEATLES songs.
