game freezes. Common problem?

My 360 froze once during a rock shop loading screen in about 6 or 7 hours of game play. I think I'll try installing and see if it helps

So far no freezes on the PS3 for me. Also of note, I played Hysteria today and everything went fine.

I have noticed that the loading times are comparatively terrible. You'd think that with significantly less songs to load from DLC (because of the songs it blocks), it'd be faster than Rock Band 2...but I guess those animations really take up a lot of power.

I've also noted that there's lag when I try to pause the game. When I play solo. And I hit the start button on my plastic PS3 Hofner Bass controller. There's a noticeable gap between when I hit the button, and when the pause screen comes up. It's very disruptive.

It has only frozen for me on the loading screen with the lego figure about to strum with a red pick. It happened two or three times in one session, with hard reboots required, but I haven't had a freeze in 12-15 sessions since then. 90% of them happened in the Rock Shop, which I don't visit too often anymore.

Lego rock band really needs an update... the lag in the game between songs and venues/gigs is terrible... I also have 12 hours+ into the game but I only have froozen once and that was when I tried to get into edit my entourage on the PS3 edition in the rock shop.

lego rock band has also frozen my console (360).

I played for about three days... on the third day my console froze in game.

then the next day I got the RROD. I'm going to ship it in soon (thankfully it hasn't been 3 years since I bought it yet)

mine froze every time i'd try to load my story mode. once i exported that was the last time i cared to play it. really pissed me off. i'm on ps3

Whenever I try to play Aliens Exist at Space Rock Festival it freezes. So much for beating the tour... >.>

Loading the rock den area seems to trigger it most often from what I've observed.
