I have yet to listen to it, but heard it was great from killer_roach and PA (who have praised the album greatly)

understandable your other Post-Metal albums make up for it (like usual I have only listened to one or two of them though)

I was not aware of any Krautrock releases this year either I will need to check those out

...I'm sorry. I've never heard of a good deal of these artists. I don't listen to indie music much if at all.

There's no way you were able to listen to all of these more than once or twice. I trust your judgment, but wonder how you can make such a huge list on your own.

actually, i made sure to listen to each album on my top 250 at least 3 times (though obviously some of my favorites received far more playtime).

the EP's and honorable mentions didn't receive such attention but the idea of dragging this out another month or so (and naturally finding another 50 albums or so i just have to include) makes me dizzy and sick.

all in all i've been keeping this list since the beginning of the year as i've previously hated doing lists simply because it's hard to get the ball rolling for me at the end of the year and always results in too many mistakes/omissions.

like i said, i can help but i'm sure a quick google/yahoo search would help a lot.

i don't know much about your taste in music, unfortunately so i can't make any immediate recommendations but i included genres after each album for a reason.

Well, I am a huge prog rock fan, but I don't think I saw much prog there.
