they did that at a school assembly, every one went crazy, and the black kids in the crowd jumped in and started dancing... ugh I hate high schoolers (for the most part, no offense to the youngsters i.e trident, R2R, Fruit)

I know my generalization was a big stretch, but the hype that shares with the Goat's just seems to be all "afterstasis u liek me?" half of the time. I know you are different but, eh.

I'm not denying that that could be happening, but I think it's mainly that a lot of it has to do with us having a lot of personal relation to their music, at least that's where most of it comes from me for me and users like Hungryfreak.

I should probably rephrase. While I do like the album a lot, I can't personally consider it a favorite. Lyrics tend to bug me, though, if they're too simplistic, and songs like "Party Hard" definitely don't do for me what they do for so many others. Looking at it from another perspective I can definitely enjoy the song, though.

On the topic of Andrew WK, I love the entire I Get Wet album. Maybe it is because it's so simplistic or the passion behind it. I like listening to it because it makes me feel good. Simple as that.

I have no doubt that the album gains something magical when intoxicated . Sober, it's still a really fun album to listen to.

I find myself skipping to each of the top 5 really good songs on I Get Wet. The album's a lot of fun and I love it, but a lot of what WK has done is more interesting to listen to.

i almost never listen to "i get wet" anymore since it is indeed a total party album and it's pretty hard to party alone or with a boring-ass roommate.
