ps3 Rb in game leaderboards not updating

Keldon has not updated, Rockbandstats.com has not updated, the in game Leaderboards have not updated.

I have an update ready for RockBandStats.com (will be ready shortly, see below), but all PS3 scores will be pre-patch.

I'm pretty much done with my server transfer (more affordable server), RockBandStats.com should point to it in the next 24 hours. There will be faster udpates now due to the shorter range (top 5,000 for now, will increase gradually over time if the server responds well). The top 5,000 is 5% of the full range (top 100,000) but 20% of all the scores (36 million out of 174 million).

Hopefully this PS3 updating problem is only on Harmonix's end and it won't require the release of a new patch. We know how long it takes between PS3 patches...

JUST A WARNING TO ALL!!! when playing in tour mode with a full band if you have a member drop out and invite another member in that member will not have a start button and what you will have to do is exit back out to the tour menu and RE-INVITE ALL OF YOUR STAYING BAND MEMBERS in order for the new member to have a start button option. If you have any question on how to do this just ask myself or shawnpatrl we will be able to help you out as much as we can. THIS IS ANOTHER SIDE EFFECT OF THE PATCH AS WELL.

I have used Keldon for sometime now on a regular basis. I even go so far as to hit each individual update link per song so as to atleast have a bit of hope that the scores are going to update faster than normal. Approx. 2 weeks ago I recently started playing many different DLC songs for the first time on guitar, bass, and drums, and already had all songs done on vocals always awaiting the DLC for each week.

What I noticed immediately after the patch, was my solo scores that Keldon was currently behind on updating, were still being updated at approximately 15 songs per day average. (Meaning the scores that I had accomplished before the patch was done, actually updated as many as 3 or even 4 full days after the patch). Once Keldon caught my scores up to date with the software patch day, I haven't seen one update. My local in game leaderboards show all my scores that have either been completed for the first time and/or redone with a better score, yet once I try filtering from my local scores to the online leaderboard stats, NOTHING HAS UPDATED SINCE THAT PATCH. Keldon has not updated, Rockbandstats.com has not updated, the in game Leaderboards have not updated.

I am simply going nuts waiting for these things to be fixed. I actually am thinking about starting a spreadsheet and going through all my songs and putting down my current scores, just so I can have some self satisfaction and don't forget what the heck my scores are for each instrument.

I'm sure this has all been stated in the past 6 pages, but I at least needed to vent if nothing else.

Hell that is what I'm doing right now for vocals and i will start another one for the rest of the instruments when I'm done singing the rest of my 450+ songs that i haven't yet.

Come on HMX... even a post saying "oops! we're looking into it and it should be fixed 'soon'" would be appreciated. This is an annoying bug which has been introduced during the last patch and which is removing a lot of the feeling of achievement from the game.

Yeah I track all my scores on scorehero so at least I have a record of them but I'm worried if some of these will ever update on the game leaderboards

Also that start button bug is really annoying

True - and that sucks but HMX haven't shown much (external) interest in getting any leaderboard issues fixed.

Not saying they won't, just saying that (for leaderboards only) it's been one thing after another with them never working fully as intended.

Didn't HMX recently fix the problem with the external sites score pulling so that the servers wouldn't get killed?

Yes. Again, I never said they don't do anything - I just made comment that, when it comes to leaderboards, they seem to get it wrong a whole lot more than they get it right.

You could argue that if the GAME leaderboards worked properly it's unlikely Keldon.net, or Rockbandstats, would even have come into existence. They came to be, it appears, because the HMX leaderboards have been fubar'ed for so long someone got sick of it.
