Recording albums

So I remember I had an issue a while back where I didn't know how to record my first album...turns out beating the Counting Crows song unlocked the person I needed to do so.

Now I'm getting very close to 1000 stars, and I still haven't been asked to record a second album. I read below that someone mentioned unlocking the 6th album will get the Veteran Performer achievement...but is there anything in particular (gigs, buying stuff, etc) that will let me record the second one? Do I need to re-do a power challenge, perhaps?

Just keep playing the last albums are created very close to the end of the game.

From what I've read, albums come up after you've played a set number of gigs. Doesn't matter how many stars you've got; only how many gigs you've played.

I suggest spending a LOT of time in the 1-song gigs....you'll get to your albums a lot quicker that way.
