Rock Band Network STORE opening at the end of Jan?

Just watching Xplay and John Drake was talking about RBN.

He said fingers crossed that the STORE portion of RBN would be open by the end of January.

Didn't give a release yet for the song creator portion, but there's some new information regardless I guess

Good news! I'm one of the few selected as a playtester, so I'm glad to see progress being made. I'm sure with a number of the community testing, the process has sped up pretty well.

Awesome. I think people are really going to like these songs, if they are willing to give them a chance.

"Dancing With Myself" came out well, with a few little things in the vocal chart to maybe clean up. Easy fixes though I think.

There's no rush really, the longer it takes, the more songs that will be available for download on the stores opening.

Better that than it opening 4 months ago and waiting patiently for another song to hit...

If it does open before the end of the month, though, it'll be awesome. Really excited about Fake-Shark, Real Zombie! and Amberian Dawn.

And the fact that it was initially slated to start-up back in November. Yet, i'd rather it be working properly from the get-go instead of it being chalk full of bugs.

I can't wait for RBN to be honest. The DLC in the last 4-5 months has left me feeling rather isolated and puts a big damper on my Rock Band playing. I plan on getting a fresh 2800 point card and spending nearly all of that the same day on RBN songs. I suspect the store will be slow like molasses on opening day though.

I can only hope this is true, and if not, that it opens in early-mid february. I guess that means that the beta will be opening to any charter/band/label soon.

Same here! I hope I can get at least ONE song in before the store opens to the public!!!
