they should at least say SOMETHING. Even a simple announcement saying that they don't know if more DLC is coming or that there is no more DLC would suffice. What on earth could possibly make them think than releasing 3 albums and then not saying a word about future DLC is a good idea?
'zactly. Cuz announcing Green Day: Rock Band the other day and not announcing more Beatles: Rock Band DLC makes me feel a little queasy.

Chances for DLC are still unbalanced due to these possiblities
    1. Harmonix will announce more Beatles DLC but they will tell us to wait even longer so they can cater to Green Day: Rock Band owners
    2. Harmonix will give the Beatles: Rock Band owners the brush off like they did to the owners of Rock Band Unplugged

as for being patient, You might have to do a rain check on that as the fans of The Beatles are very loyal next to fans of Elvis, The Who and others and if they don't get what they want... you (might) will expect hell to pay

    This is some BullSh!t

Everytime I play online no one has any of the albums, and looking at the downloads it looks like everyone is too cheap to buy them. These downloads keep the game alive, Please people get the albums they are well worth it and then they will keep making new dlc.

I'm pretty sure most people on the forums have already got all the DLC. It won't change much talking about it here.

When you're playing with people online, just say to them 'oh, you should buy the DLC, it's really good'.
Give me more songs by David Bowie, Oasis and The Smiths and I will be a very happy man indeed.

I'll go out on a limb and say Green Day: Rock Band has nothing to do with Beatles DLC. It's likely that HMX is waiting to see DLC buying patterns after a bunch of new Beatles: Rock Band players arrived on the scene after the holidays. If the costs of producing new DLC is prohibitively high vs sales numbers, then they may decide to do singles packs rather than full album DLC.

I really can't see them abandoning the game with so many huge hits not yet available for sale. I can see them saying "we're not going to make much profit by devoting time to doing every Beatles song ever written, so let's concentrate on getting the big stuff out before folks lose interest in the game". Conversely, they wouldn't want to cannibalize future sales by releasing the top singles when they could instead sell the full album. It's not a simple decision and I'm glad they're taking the time to consider it fully.

I'm thinking that we'll see an announcement before the end of the month for another round of DLC starting Feb.

See the bolded part. Im going to agree with this, they have made no attempt to make any kind of statement regarding future DLC. They are fully aware of the activity of this board, and the questions regarding future DLC, and yet they dont even give a "be patient, more to come soon" type of response.

If they valued the concept of us buying DLC, they would at least give us some kind of information...

No, because HMX hate you and don't want to make money. Obviously.

I plan on posting a mean-spirited dismissal like this in every thread on this subject that pops up, since it's got an obvious answer, and the pathetic doom-saying it brings is just embarrassing.

Smartest line of thinking I've seen yet, thanks.

Not just in the hope for more DLC but in the hope of playing it more often online.

This is why I am glad they did not just release this one song yet. If they release it on its own, then I may become worried.
