While I haven't taken a stab at the events and lighting (I'm assuming that it's just certain MIDI notes) I've got every single Expert MIDI part done in a matter of four hours. Don't get me wrong, I'm far from done, but I'm saying for someone like me who writes music in a modular tracker or someone who works with music shouldn't have TOO much of a problem adapting to the Rock Band software, especially when it's not even the real tabular. But that's most likely the issue. I understand that if you're in a real rock band and you're too busy rocking out and you are deaf from touring, the band could have an excuse for going to an authoring business to go get this stuff done and on Rock Band. I was more suggesting that the stupidity of going to an authoring business when you've got all this free time (especially if you're on a forum for Rock Band and you're posting in my thread) that maybe sitting around with a Dr. Pepper and taking a stab at working on some MIDI and reading some tutorials wouldn't hurt. Worst case scenario is that it doesn't work and you're going to run off paying a thousand bucks toward some random authoring business. I did not make that clear, and I'm sorry for that.
Hopefully I didn't come off as a jerk in this post, but I do know what I'm talking about.
