I don't know, the statement about the big game announcement is flanked by sentences about Led Zeppelin. I can almost see Drake winking as he says the last line:

Yes, a couple of months =/= a couple of days, and it's entirely possible Drake was talking about a different major announcement to come later. But odds are....GDRB. That would also fit into his comments about treating artists right. My interpretation of the Zep comment (reading between the lines): "Hey, we did The Beatles right, and we're about to do the same for Green Day -- in a major announcement right around the corner here. So we definitely would love to use that to lure Zep into talking to us about doing the same for them."

Gah, damnit. Haha, well let's look forward to E3 anyway. That's where they announced RB1/2.

Hmm, my excitement meter is now into negative numbers, since I can't create an account for the open beta because I'm not a US resident.

...and since I can't get into the creators.com forums, I can't ask the nice people there when/if/ever I'll be able to get in. Has anyone heard anything with regards to the rest of the world participating in playtesting?

I'm certain it came from the lips of Harmonix themselves when this was first announced that eventually people worldwide could review (but not submit, I understand that part).
