They tend to map the same drum on two pads so that you'd still have to hit them with both arms. That's also how they chart flams.
It's a snare. It's just so that you use both hands so its more dramatic I believe.
ok I get it. so you know this because you've played the song on real drum set? Just curious how you knew it was a double snare hit?

It's not that hard, if you don't believe me, watch the video posted before.
If you're going literally by what you hear in the recording they used, you're playing stomps and claps.
On the studio record in the game, there are no drums. But someone felt like charting it to drums anyway.
