But now we're getting all of the Rockabilly Legends. Which is incredibly fantastic as well. Also, The Trews. And "Brand New Key". Good time to be alive.
Getting Wavegroup stuff had some sweet perks too. Granted some of the songs were off. Cough 3eB mixing cough

Wow. This must be the single biggest artist and/or song to ever land through the RBN. I'm stunned.

Yeah, I totally agree with the others here, it's the biggest name that landed on RBN. Great song, can't wait to see the charts (and eventually play it!)

I hope that the Beatles tracks technique on RBN will help us getting songs that don't have separated masters even on regular DLC, like Paranoid, House of the Rising Sun, Paint it Black.

I know it's some sort of expensive process, but I think that it's worth the money.

Original recording I believe to boot.
This is... Well, I can certainly say that I didn't expect Rock Band Network to be bringing rock 'n' roll songs, let alone songs on the Rolling Stone's Top 500 Songs of All Time list, but this is incredible. Hopefully we'll be seing more in the months to come (Elvis, possibly? Bah, who am I kidding...).
    Wishlist:

    Moar Grateful Dead:
    Led Zeppelin (I can dream, can't I?):
    Pink Floyd:
    Moar Who:
    Moar Ratt:

    You're right.

It's in open beta now, meaning it is available for anyone and everyone who wants to pay the price to try out the tracks.

So the whole cone of silence thing that some forum members think needs to be enforced is actually pretty much null and void at this point.

So here's the songs I was talking about(some of them anyway).

Remember(this is very important), just because a song is in playtest doesn't mean it will make it all the way to the store.

So some of these tracks for some reason or another MIGHT NOT be available to purchase when it is all said and done.

Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over by The Devil Wears Prada
Lady in a Blue Dress by Senses Fail
    Australia by the Shins
    Stick Stickly by Attack Attack!
Demon Woman by Flight of the Conchords
Dancing With Myself by Billy Idol
    Drunken Lullabies(live) by Flogging Molly
    Survive by Lacuna Coil
    Undone by All That Remains
Get the hell out of here by Steve Vai
The Attitude song by Steve Vai
For the Love of God(live) by Steve Vai
Kick Some Ass by Stroke 9
Little Black backpack by Stroke 9
Mechanical Love by In this Moment
Battles and Brotherhood by 3 inches of Blood
    Unstoppable by White Line Allstars
    Stand for Something by Skindred
    Creepy Doll by Jonathan Coultan
Whatever is Wrong with You by Marillion
I was just looking through old posts and saw this. Billy Idol's "Dancing With Myself" was originally coming to the RBN?!
So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, good night.

JERRY LEE LEWIS? A master recording of one of the most legendary rock 'n roll tracks of all time? And the implication that there's going to be...more from that era?

This is fantastic, probably the best RBN "get" ever. Can't wait.
Who doesn't love a good album sort? Fill in those 3's HMX!

    ALT/INDIE WANTED:
    Radiohead - Pavement - National - Arcade Fire - Wilco - Decemberists
