Are we getting hosed out of $10, or am I just stupid....

    Ok all....

I too am having problems exporting my Lego RB music to my PS3. I entered the code from the back of the book, received the code from the website, and finally put the code in the redeem code box. Then an export key file downloads in the system, and installs itself. After all that is done, nothing else happens, except when i put my Lego disc in, I can download the "real" key that actually downloads the music.

So I guess my question is, did I do something wrong, or does the "key" in the book just give you the opportunity to spend another $10 to actually export the songs...

Here's to hopin' that we aren't getting hosed out of $10....

    Thanks for the help...

There is a $10 export fee. I wouldn't consider it being "hosed," but yeah, you have to pay it, the export isn't free.

The key shouldn't cost ten bucks. The key should allow you to get the export in game, which costs ten bucks.

Yeah, as others have noted, it sounds like you haven't actually spent $10 yet, so no getting "hosed". I think now that the export key is installed, you can purchase the export in the Lego Rock Band store.
