What Were They Thinking? (Kung Fu Fighting)

I know this will probably get closed, but couldn't help myself.

    DAMN.

What was HMX thinking charting 'Kung Fu Fighting' the way they did? Talk about a horrible pain in the rear end. It's easy but it's the same notes over and over again, and gets tiring. (Talking about expert guitar)

Too bad I had hope for this song

That's the way the way the actual guitar part goes for this song. What else did you expect them to do, make something up to make it more fun/difficult? They aren't Neversoft.

As annoying as it can be to play, it's a huge help in learning how to alt-strum and change chords. Use it as a learning tool, not a fun song :P

I don't see how it's difficult. If you're good at altstrumming, you shouldn't have a problem with the song.

It's altstrumming+awkward changing chords. It's just fast enough to give many people problems. For me, it's the hardest song in LRB by quite a bit.

There's awkward chords changes? I didn't notice. It all seems pretty simple to me. I have trouble with Naive and Suddenly I See, for some reason.

They were probably thinking, "Hey, let's approach this guitar chart with the same philosophy and standards that we use in all the other songs."

    Crazy. I know.

The chord changes themselves aren't what makes the song hard. It's the slightly off-beat pace at which you have to alt-strum. It feels like you should be strumming much faster than than the notes are actually meant to be played.

I downstrum this song every time and I regret it every time

Also, Naive is the hardest guitar song in the game
