Megadeth Vs. Metallica

Alright, there's probably already a thread on this but...whatev

Which do you think is the better band as of right now?

I'll go ahead and say that Metallica clearly had the upper hand when they started over Megadeth. Though I would say that both bands made great music in their early years, Metallica had a huge popularity advantage over Megadeth

BUT!

As it stands now I think Megadeth is clearly the better band. Their last two albums (United Abominations, Endgame) were SO much better than Metallica's Death Magnetic IMO. Megadeth has remained consistent throughout their career in regard to their music whereas Metallica has tried to change their sound so much that they don't even know who the hell they are anymore.

Any other opinions?
