Like I guess it might just be my stereo, but like I really can only hear the guitar at the beginning and then like the entire song I am listening to every single nuance of the bass. The only reason I can think for differing opinions is that I do have a 2.0 setup (although it's a really nice stereo((Onkyo!)), promise) and not a 5.1 setup.
I have a 2.0 setup currently as well. Mid-end Onkyo receiver (which is still like $600...) and Meadowlark Audio Kestral Hot Rod speakers (which are high end speakers, cost a few grand a pop new back when still made), so I've got a really good setup. It doesn't matter whether bass boost is on or off or Dolby Digital is on or off. Higher's bass is too high. I wasn't even playing bass. I was vocals.

Yeah, RB songs do tend to have higher bass, but this is too high, kinda like Jumper had too high of bass. It overpowers the guitar and sometimes the vocals too much. It bothers me enough that I won't be buying this song.

Maybe any future Creed songs will sound better.
