Well, I was just thinking the other day: Suppose I author all of my own music and it gets through Peer Review and Playtesting and gets put up in the RBN store.

Am I going to have to go through the store and purchase my own songs to play them normally in the game or will submitting them get you a free download for it if it gets uploaded?

I know this is probably looking a little to far into things or I'm overlooking something obvious, I was just curious.

I'm not on xbox so I don't know how it works but wouldn't you already have the file on your Xbox360 before you upload?

Sort of. As it sits now, the files you create can only be used through Audition Mode.

You do have to pay for it to be able to play it normally. Otherwise you'll always have to play it in audition mode.

Yes, you'll have to purchase it to play it normally. We are not given any free download tokens for our songs.

No.

They stay on your computer until you delete them.

You can only load one song into audition mode at a time from your computer using magma.

Once it is in RB2 you can play it as many times as you want on any instrument/difficulty.

Once you are done you go back to your computer and load up the next song you want to play/test.

The first song is still on your computer until you manually delete it from whatever folder you've saved it to.

But they do auto-delete themselves from your X360 once you exit Audition Mode, which I think is what he was asking.

Oh well, it's a small price to pay for the ability to play my own music in Rock Band anyways.
