    Yay! I was right!

What if the studio is closed because the new company is cleaning and redecorating it? That's probably why there's no DLC.

Can someone explain to me what effect EMI selling/revitalizing a recording studio would have on the availability of DLC?

The thinking was that HMX had to go to Abbey road studio to get the masters worked on by sound techs because the instruments weren't properly seperated on the masters.

At least I think that's what their thinking was in regards to it affecting DLC.

A great deal, theoretically. HMX has said that for every song they wanted to add to B:RB, they had to personally separate out the tracks at Abbey Road itself; they couldn't simply get masters sent to them. If ownership of the studio or use of its equipment became a problem, that'd definitely affect any DLC in the future unless Apple Corps let Harmonix have the masters outright, which isn't too likely

While this may mean future DLC for the game, I'm afraid it doesn't bode well for future DCL. I'm sorry.
