A sarcastic answer to an unneeded question... Don't see anything wrong with that. That question shouldn't have been asked if he had good context clue skills.

but why is it so damn hard for anyone in here to be understanding? why do the sarcastic responses have to be made? it's ridiculous. live and let live.

It tends to happen in forums where there is little new to talk about. Old questions get asked by new people. Some people will kindly answer while others, instead of just ignoring a question that bothers them, feel compelled to amuse themselves with sarcastic wit.

If we had something new to discuss the sarcasm levels would drop.
