    I always dug that song
I would've linked you to the same place Jukebox did. The rest of the album's not quite as good as Outside, which I honestly believe is one of the most well-written songs ever, but it's still good if you're into the stuff that, say, Siouxsie and the Banshees were doing around the same time.

I guess this is what it would sound like if My Bloody Valentine recorded their legendary albums in the 60's, after joining a creepy cult and doing some serious LSD of course.
And this is their most normal album.

Recommended If You Like: The Telescopes, Deerhunter, Loop, Serena Maneesh, Medicine, and Flying Saucer Attack.

    Sample the album on myspace.
I got a new music boner when I saw the description and genre, but I already know Teenage Filmstars. Excellent band, for the record.
    Screw alt accounts.

    Hagal - Sterbender Traum
    Genre: Black Metal
    Year: 2004

Killer black metal with traces of folk and a strong sense of melody and atmosphere. That tells you a lot, right?

Recommended If You Like: Burzum, Windir, Taake, Nokturnal Mortum, Drudkh, and Kampfar.

Sample part of the album on myspace.

Didn't see this until now, but that's me. Thanks again.

Also, as far as albums in this thread go, Volcano, I'm Still Excited!! was pretty average, but The Man in the Bowler Hat was great.

    Cokiyu - Mirror Flake
    Genre: Ambient Electronic Pop
    Year: 2007

Gentle, relaxing, and somehow still actually moving.
This chick also sings for Aus, but I think this album is superior to any released under that name.

Recommended If You Like: Aus, Sigur Rós, Pornopop, múm, A Lily, and Savath & Savalas.

Sample part of the album on myspace.

Well, I'm sure it's not the first time somebody recognized one of the artists 'stasis featured... (that being said, the one I recognized earlier was one I had only a cursory familiarity with)

I knew the first one he posted , and a few others like Teenage Fanclub and Life Without Buildings.
Despite all my rage, I'm still just Nicolas Cage

haha, i didn't post any teenage fanclub.
i posted teenage filmstars, who are a lot different and i'm surprised didn't see more supporters amongst the shoegaze folks.

Haha, I knew I was going to make a mistake somewhere in that post, but yeah I'd heard of Teenage Filmstars too.
