Yeah, might be better just to post it there(although shoutboxes are fine as well, doesn't need to be a private message).

    The Semantics - Powerbill
    Genre: Powerpop
    Year: 1993

Ben Folds, Counting Crows' bassist, and Owsley (who went on to play in Amy Grant's band) started this band up with a few demos. Ben Folds left, replaced by Ringo Starr's son, who played on this album...
Recipe for mid-90's fame, right? Nope, not at all (312 listeners on last.fm pisses me off).
Regardless, this is one hell of a solid pop-rock album that should have been a big hit.

Recommended If You Like: Teenage Fanclub, XTC, The dB's, Matthew Sweet, Shoes, and Velvet Crush.

I am really loving the At the Close of Every Day album. Really loving it. It's going to be on regular rotation this week! I have the Semantics album loaded up next, as well and am looking forward to it.

Passionate, hyper-creative, and grandiose... Now this is how melodic prog is done!

would it be overkill/insane/pointless to do 2 albums a day, upping the frequency of non-rock material and also occasionally digging into stuff i can't find samples for online?
