Guilty as charged. It was amusing to see the way things played out... also interesting that Ultimatum still didn't bother to find out who I was after realizing that I wasn't JBH.

I didn't recognize the name to be honest, didn't know you were a reg.
Despite all my rage, I'm still just Nicolas Cage

Damnit I read through these past few posts and had no idea what was going on until the end.

Just thought I'd give my two cents after playing catch up on some albums I missed:

The Semantics album is GREAT! I absolutely love it
At the Close of Every Day's album was pretty damn good too.
The Veldt's album was really interesting, love the hip hop grooves with shoegaze.
Hit Parade's album was decent but didn't really grab me.
Volebeats' album was solid, but I'll have to listen to it again for a real verdict.
Only got halfway through Milligram's album so far, and it was super good

Keep up the great work stasis!

I can agree with all of these.

    Heldon - Stand By
    Genre: Progressive Electronic
    Year: 1979

Quite possibly the closest to a middle-ground between progressive electronic and progressive rock, these guys effortlessly bridge Krautrock with Tangerine Dream and friends, throwing in a heavy Fripp influence along the way.
To boot, it's a darker, more unsettling album than anything Tangerine Dream has ever done... Would make great Italian horror film music.

Recommended If You Like: King Crimson, Magma, Tangerine Dream, Igor Wakhévitch, Cluster, and Goblin.

Visit this distro page for samples.

The Milligram album opened with a bang, can't wait to listen to the rest of it.

    Angel'in Heavy Syrup - IV
    Genre: Psychedelic Rock
    Year: 1999

An all-female Japanese band creating otherworldly music that sounds like the daughter of krautrock and shoegaze.
Easily one of the best Japanese psych albums of all time.

Recommended If You Like: Amon Düül II, Flower Travellin' Band, Bardo Pond, Faust, Serena Maneesh, and Loop.

    Low-Quality Sample...

I've been looking for more female fronted Psychedelic Rock, so this should be perfect.
