Number One Cup is cool, I need to set aside some listening time since I've been doing my odd anime run.

Roland Young - Isophonic Boogie Woogie
    Genre: Avant-Garde Jazz/Electroacoustic
    Year: 1980

Spaced out, tripped out, and jazzed out. One of the most psychedelic jazz records ever, which is especially cool since Roland played 100% of this by himself.
Also of note, the original LP only has 5 tracks. The reissue tacks on 2 terrible tracks that are best ignored.

Recommended If You Like: Sun Ra getting more baked than ever.

    Sample at Rush Hour.

Loved that Mermen album and Divine Styler was one of the most interesting Hip-Hop albums I've heard. Can't wait to listen to this one, I'll probably do that today.

    Poem Rocket - Psychogeography
    Genre: Alternative/Noise Rock
    Year: 2000

Obscure slab of arty alt-rock that recalls a less ferocious Sonic Youth.

Recommended If You Like: Sonic Youth, Blonde Redhead, Yo La Tengo, Serena Maneesh, Polvo, and Come.

Sample via Klicktrack.com, where you have to hit play at every 30 second increment, goddammit.

holyyyy ****. great album so far(listened halfway through), stirs up memories of when you posted Whipping Boy

Edit: you already know this, but that 30-second thing is a giant pain in the ass.

Definitely need to supply a link on this one afterstasis, I can't find one on blogspot or soulseek. By the way I fix the post editing problem by giving you admin powers.

I think I found a new group to love. I need to check out some of the recent stuff that wasn't alt though since I haven't really checked into it much(occupy with school often time).
