Black Swan Lane is muy bueno. Some interesting styles I heard integrated with the main dream pop/post-punk sound. Particularly enjoyed "What You Dream"

Supuration - The Cube
Genre: Progressive Death Metal
Year: 1993

This is quite possibly the least brutal death metal album of all time, combining more clean vocals (mostly in the coldwave/post-punk style) than harsh, just as much cymbal-work as drums, middle-ground tempos, extensive use of effects, and a strong focus on cold atmospherics.
On top of that I'm usually immediately turned off anytime a metal band goes for a futuristic vibe in their music, but this is a very rare exception. Excellent album that went from something I expected to hate to a DM favorite.

Recommended If You Like: Cadaver meets Voivod.

The Heavy Blinkers - The Night And I Are Still So Young
Genre: Chamber Pop
Year: 2004

Ultra-lightweight retro pop bordering on so many ideas at once that it would be overwhelming if not for the incredibly mellow vibe it carries throughout.
This is one of the ultimate feel-good Autumn records in my collection.

Recommended If You Like: Burt Bacharach, Brian Wilson, The Left Banke, Polyphonic Spree, The Free Design, and The High Llamas.

Former members of Paul Revere & The Raiders showing how much they appreciate musique concrete.
Probably a bit long-winded for weiners seeking out basic psych-rock, but anyone with an ounce of interest in deep psych jamming and sound collage will probably love this.

Recommended If You Like: The United States of America, The Red Krayola, The Dukes Of Stratosphear, Cromagnon, Brainticket, and Arzachel.

Genre: Outlaw Country/Folk Rock
Year: 1979

Primarily known as a songwriter, this album stands up to the greatest in the genre, despite it's less rowdy approach. Allmusic can suck it hard.

Recommended If You Like: Willie Nelson, Steve Earle, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Guy Clark, and Jerry Jeff Walker.

if I were to make a list of top songs in this thread, "No Doves Fly Here" by The Mob would easily be in the Top 10
