Serpentina Satélite - Nothing to Say
    Genre: Space Rock
    Year: 2008

No reinvention of the wheel here, this is just one hell of a kick-ass space/kraut/psych rock album.

Recommended If You Like: Hawkwind, Amon Düül II, Spacemen 3, Ash Ra Tempel, Bardo Pond, and Earthless.

    Sample via youtube.

The Band Of Holy Joy - More Tales From The City
    Genre: Folk Pop/New Wave
    Year: 1987

New wave European folk for batcave/dark cabaret fans? I really don't know how to describe this. So much going on here, you'll just have to hear it for yourself.
Apparently one of these dudes was actually in The Exploited, which I find really funny.

Recommended If You Like: The Pogues, Nick Cave, The Fall, The Go-Betweens, Eyeless In Gaza, and The Waterboys.

Stonewall - Self Titled (Reissued as "Stoner")
    Genre: Hard Rock/Psychedelic Rock
    Year: 1976

This kinda sounds like Blue Cheer pumping up the blues influence and deciding to lay some punk rock groundwork with rougher vocals, looser playing, and a slightly overdriven recording.

Recommended If You Like: Blue Cheer, Mountain, Atomic Rooster, Wishbone Ash, Budgie, and Groundhogs.

    John Maus - Songs
    Genre: Synthpop/Lo-Fi
    Year: 2006

In 2007 John Maus released his sophomore LP, gaining a small number of fans as lo-fi's increase in popularity was gaining momentum due to bandmates in prior years such as Ariel Pink and Panda Bear.
Unfortunately, very few noticed this debut the year prior, which is right up there with the best from the style.

Recommended If You Like: Ariel Pink covering Scott Walker on downers.

    Sample via Boomkat.

I'm planning on doing absolutely nothing for Xmas this year, but I assume most of the regulars would prefer I skip a day or two so everyone doesn't get even further behind?

christmas gets less meaningful as you get older, and I haven't had a decent one in years. most of my christmas' lately involving hanging around the apartment drinking beer and watching the games...which means Ill probably also have my laptop around.

I say by all means keep doing what you doing

Agreed, as busy as Christmas gets I'm sure most people will still have time to check in on this thread and find some more great stuff. Keep up the great work stasis!

It seems the first song is missing from the Jason Maus album, I'll just grab it from SS. I think skipping a day or two around Christmas is a good idea to allow for people to catch up a bit.

The opening track is one minute of really simple ambient synth stuff. If someone else can find a better link I'll post it, but it's no biggie.
