I wish to be a magician of words!
i was surprised no one commented on the vulcans album... it's hard not to have some kind of reaction to that one.

Definitely checking out the For Stars album. Oh, and noob, Tony Williams isn't obscure enough, on here, at least. I whore that album out too much for it to be.![]()
Would you pay for music by Beck?
Maybe.
What if you heard he owned a plane made of gold?
Sure.
Good, because he needs the money.
two albums again today. i pretty much hate anyone who doesn't like these two...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Echospace - The Coldest Season
Genre: Ambient/Dub Techno
Year: 2007
One of the most breathtaking ambient and/or techno albums I've ever heard. Cranking this up and sitting in front of the speakers with a pipe is one of life's defining moments.
I've met several black metal fans who swear by this album, no joke.
Recommended If You Like: Basic Channel, Model 500, Gas, Vladislav Delay, Fluxion, and Quantec.
Sample via boomkat.

The Frank And Walters - Trains, Boats & Planes
Genre: Indie Pop
Year: 1992
Solid from start to finish and anthemic beyond belief, this is one of the finest albums ever record in this style, period.
These guys apparently made an early impact on the Britpop scene, being supported by both Radiohead and Suede at one point, but were sadly forgotten soon thereafter.
Recommended If You Like: The Smiths, Suede, The Stone Roses, Lightning Seeds, and The Charlatans.

The Frank And Walters sounds right up my alley.
Will definitely check that one out.

Both those albums sound like they'd be great, I'll listen to them today.
EDIT: The Frank and Walters album was fantastic!

Colossamite - Economy Of Motion
Genre: Noise Rock/Math Rock
Year: 1998
Too clean to be noise rock? Too chaotic to be math rock?
Will you give it a shot if I mention a Deerhoof member was in this band?
Recommended If You Like: Scratch Acid, Rapeman, Unwound, Hella, U.S. Maple, and A Minor Forest.
