The best part about that last.fm is how big of an impact this thread's contents has on the visible Similar Artists list.
Hell, there's even a band I have down for the week after next since I've been listening to them so much lately.

    Barkmarket - L. Ron
    Genre: Noise Rock/Grunge
    Year: 1996

I've seen this labeled everything from the two genres above to Hard/Stoner Rock and Post-Hardcore. And honestly, they all make pretty good sense at different times.
Regardless, it rules. Listen to the samples if you're at all into any genres or bands mentioned.

Recommended If You Like: Melvins, The Jesus Lizard, Harvey Milk, Flipper, Tad, and Rapeman.

    Short samples via ilike.com.

(Also, old members may recognize this album cover.)

I updated the blog earlier, but blogger appears to be taking issue with me posting images suddenly and based on file-size I suspect the link is pretty poor bitrate.

I hope that doesn't discourage anyone from checking this great album out.

Not at all, based on the similar artists I'm very eager to listen to this album.

I'll grab it for a rainy day

Alusa Fallax - Intorno Alla Mia Cattiva Educazione
    Genre: Symphonic Prog
    Year: 1974

Swirling synth-heavy symphonic prog from Italy.
These guys only released this one album in their 10 years together, but it rivals even PFM.

Recommended If You Like: Gentle Giant, Premiata Forneria Marconi, Van Der Graaf Generator, Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso, Gryphon, and Le Orme.

It seems the 8th song is missing from the album, I'll see if I can find it on SS.\

Edit: I have the complete album now, if you'd like me to provide a link for it, let me know.

If you have a link I'll definitely post it. If not, I'll upload it tomorrow.

Also, it appears that I still can't post pics on the blog. Maybe it's a firefox thing with the latest update?
