It looks like it'll be awesome, can't wait till I eventually listen to it.

Add a drop of lavender to your milk, leave town with an orange, and pretend you're laughing at it.
If I were to make a top 100 songs of all time list I'd definitely have to include Girl Of Colours.

so far, have gotten through about half of the The Spin. It's indeed shaping up to be one of the best albums in this thread.
I have lots of catching up to do. Also just grabbed the vSpy vSpy album, which I'll get to tomorrow. But I loved every sample provided, so Im very excited for that one too.

Gonna try doing two albums on Tuesdays and Thursdays instead of Wednesdays... Also gonna post two German albums today.
Holger Hiller - Ein Bündel Fäulnis In Der Grube
Genre: Avant-Garde Electronic Music/Synth-Pop
Year: 1983
A landmark album in the early arts of sampling and emulation, but that's history (along with Holger's involvement in the Neue Deutsche Welle scene).
What matters is that this album rules. A fantastic example of avant-garde music with an intelligent use of pop sensibilities.
Recommended If You Like: Cabaret Voltaire, The Flying Lizards, Chris & Cosey, Fad Gadget, Liaisons Dangereuses, and Der Plan.
Jonny (Du Lump)
Das Feuer

Night Sun - Mournin'
Genre: Heavy Psych/Hard Rock
Year: 1972
I've been struggling to decide what proto-metal albums to list in this thread since so many forum regulars are already quite deeply entrenched in this style.
In my mind this is the absolute cream of the crop, even rival to Machine Head itself. On offer here is a near overdose of speed, psychedelia, and sexy guitar-on-organ love.
You may also recognize the vocalist/bassist from kraut gods Guru Guru.
Recommended If You Like: Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Uriah Heep, Atomic Rooster, Sir Lord Baltimore, and Lucifer's Friend.
Sample via Youtube playlist.
EDIT: Blog updated.

The Green Pajamas - All Clues Lead To Megan's Bed
Genre: Neo-Psychedelia/Psychedelic Pop
Year: 1998
I can't think of a more natural-sounding extension of classic psych-pop and powerpop into the late 90's.
I like to point to this record as another example of proof that The White Album itself could have gotten a release-date in this time period and been totally overlooked in favor of Limp Bizkit and Celine Dion.
Recommended If You Like: The Beatles, The Soft Boys, Kaleidoscope, The Dream Syndicate, Rain Parade, and Circulatory System.
Somehow I can't find a sample for this album. I knew the Internet was useless all along.

The Steppes didn't impress me as much as I thought it would, but 24 Gone was fantastic.
